Music:  “The British Grenadiers.”   In their honor, our “Reenacting is Hard” Lemonade is made with a touch[hole] of grenadine!

NB:  A gill (pronounced “jill”) is 5 British imperial ounces or 4 US ounces, or ¼ pint or ½ cup.  A jack is  2 US ounces, ½ of a gill, or 1/8 pint or ¼ cup.  
A gill of rum was the daily ration for soldiers and sailors during the Revolutionary War.  This rum ration remained in effect for the British Navy until 1970!
